TERRAMARE S.A., based in Chiasso, has been active in the world of logistics since 1954.
The TERRAMARE S.A. corporation - despite having maintained the profile of a small shipping company - had built its roots in the world of logistics, thanks to its own structure and ‘Know-How’ competencies, specialising in the management of vehicles, conditions, licences and lead times, which are at the base of the success of various transport methods.
Route plannings are always evaluated and optimised according to the needs and wants of the customer and to the destination of the transport.
The TERRAMARE logistics forwarding house, which later become a forwarding agency, has now evolved into a specialised logistics consultancy agency (Door to Door), and owns its development and success to its own customers.

Our story goes back a long way, and is linked to Ulrico Maeder - father of the current TERRAMARE CEO Isabella Maeder - and known for being the founding partner of HIUPAC Chiasso and the talented owner of JACKY MAEDER & Co. - which then became a Swiss S.A.
